Formula and methodology
Formula: a = sin²(Δφ/2)+cosφ₁cosφ₂sin²(Δλ/2); central angle c = 2atan2(√a,√(1−a)); distance = Rc; initial bearing = atan2(sinΔλcosφ₂, cosφ₁sinφ₂−sinφ₁cosφ₂cosΔλ).
