Formula and methodology
Formula: code point = character.codePointAt(0); UTF-8 length follows the scalar value range; UTF-16 length is 1 or 2 code units.
Unicode assigns a scalar value to each code point. The same character can occupy one or two UTF-16 code units and from one to four UTF-8 bytes, so the representations are reported separately.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
