Formula and methodology
Formula: At equivalence, νₐMₐVₐ = νₜMₜVₜ; analyte concentration Mₐ = νₜMₜVₜ/(νₐVₐ).
The coefficient ratio matters whenever the balanced reaction is not 1:1. Both volumes may be entered in millilitres because the same volume unit appears in numerator and denominator.
