Formula: surface tension γ = force/length.
Surface tension is commonly represented as force per unit length along a liquid surface. This calculator divides the measured force by the stated length and reports newtons per metre and millinewtons per metre. Some experimental setups have two liquid-film surfaces, so the measured force must already reflect the intended apparatus convention.
