Formula and methodology
Formula: Scenario gross = streams ÷ 1,000 × entered rate; rights-holder amount = gross × share%; estimated net = rights-holder amount × (1 − fee%/100 − other deductions%/100).
Streaming services generally do not pay one universal fixed amount for every stream. This calculator therefore treats the rate as a visitor-entered scenario, makes the rights-holder share visible, and separates downstream fees from the gross scenario instead of presenting an invented worldwide payout rule.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
