Formula and methodology
Formula: Bits = bitrate×1,000,000×hours×3,600; decimal GB = bits/8,000,000,000; binary GiB = bytes/1,073,741,824.
A constant bitrate multiplied by time gives a data volume. Both decimal GB and binary GiB are shown because devices and network plans may use different prefix conventions.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
