Formula: Turns per length n = N/L; ideal internal field B = mu0 mu_r n I; H = nI.
For a sufficiently long solenoid, Ampere's law gives a nearly uniform internal field proportional to turns per length and current. The relative-permeability input makes the air-core assumption visible instead of hiding it in a constant.
