Formula: Q = mcΔT, where ΔT = T_final − T_initial; 1 kWh = 3,600,000 J.
Sensible heat is the part of a heat balance represented by a temperature change without a phase-change term. The calculator keeps mass, specific heat, and the temperature interval visible, then reports joules, kilojoules, and kilowatt-hours with the sign of the energy transfer.
