Formula and methodology
Formula: Draw each integer from the inclusive minimum-to-maximum range; optional uniqueness rejects a repeated draw.
This is a bounded non-cryptographic pseudo-random generator, matching the ordinary simulation use of a random-number page without claiming security.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
Input contract
- Minimum inclusive — minimum -1000000000; maximum 1000000000
- Maximum inclusive — minimum -1000000000; maximum 1000000000
- Numbers to generate — minimum 1; maximum 100
- Require unique values — 2 choices
Worked example
| Input | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum inclusive | 1 |
| Maximum inclusive | 100 |
| Numbers to generate | 5 |
| Require unique values | no |
Five independent integers between 1 and 100 are returned.
Assumptions and limits
- Every integer in the range is intended to have equal draw probability.
- The generator is not suitable for passwords, tokens, gambling, or security decisions.
