Formula and methodology
Formula: Quick ratio = (cash + short-term investments + accounts receivable) ÷ current liabilities.
The quick ratio is a conservative liquidity snapshot because it focuses on assets that are generally closer to cash and excludes inventory and prepaid expenses. A ratio is not a promise that every asset will be collected on time; compare it with the business model, payment timing, and other financial statements.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
