Formula and methodology
Formula: Dry-air pressure = p − e; mixing ratio w = εe/(p − e); vapor mass fraction = w/(1+w).
Atmospheric mixing ratio expresses water-vapor mass relative to dry-air mass. The calculator uses the vapor partial pressure, total pressure, and explicit molar-mass ratio to show the conversion without pretending to calculate a complete humidity state.
