Formula and methodology
Formula: Network = address AND prefix mask; last address = network with every host bit set to one; total = 2^(128 − prefix).
Use exact 128-bit arithmetic to find IPv6 prefix boundaries. The result uses canonical lowercase compressed notation and counts every address because IPv6 has no broadcast address.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
