Formula and methodology
Formula: IPv4 integer = octet₁×256³ + octet₂×256² + octet₃×256 + octet₄.
An IPv4 address is four eight-bit octets. The page validates those octets, combines them in network order, and renders the same 32 bits in decimal, binary, and hexadecimal so the representations can be checked against each other.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
