Formula and methodology
Formula: IQV=(k/(k−1))×(1−Σpᵢ²), where k is category count and pᵢ are category proportions.
The index is normalized so equal category shares approach one and concentration in one category approaches zero.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
