Formula: Impact-factor style rate = current-year citations to the two-year window ÷ scholarly items in that window.
The arithmetic is a citation rate, not a quality score for an individual paper or researcher. The numerator and denominator must refer to the same journal, citation year, and two-year publication window, and the source database's document classifications matter.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
