Formula and methodology
Formula: Remaining vibrating length = scale length/2^(fret/12); fret position = scale length−remaining length.
The equal-temperament ratio halves the string length every twelve frets and applies the same ratio successively.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
