Formula and methodology
Formula: f = c/λ; T = 1/f; E = hf; wavenumber = 1/λ, using c = 299,792,458 m/s.
For an electromagnetic wave in vacuum, frequency and wavelength are linked by the speed of light. The same wavelength also determines the photon energy through Planck's relation, so the page reports both wave and photon views of the input.
