Formula: Required final score = (target - current * (1 - final weight / 100)) / (final weight / 100).
The final and all remaining coursework form a weighted average. Solving that equation for the final exam score reveals the exact requirement before rounding. The minimum and maximum possible course grades show what happens with 0% or 100% on the final, making an impossible target explicit rather than capping the answer.
