Formula and methodology
Formula: Resulting UTC date = starting UTC date + days * 86,400,000 milliseconds.
A day offset crosses calendar boundaries naturally, including February 29 in leap years. Zero returns the starting date, one returns the following date, and minus one returns the previous date. This is a calendar-day operation, not an addition of months or working days.
