Formula and methodology
Formula: Net hours = shifts×(hours per shift−break minutes/60); total minutes = net hours×60.
The calculator makes the break deduction explicit and reports both decimal hours and total minutes.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
