Formula and methodology
Formula: Wheel rpm = speed/(πd) × 60; cadence = wheel rpm/(wheel revolutions per crank revolution).
The ratio expresses how many wheel turns occur per crank turn, so cadence is lower than wheel rpm when the ratio exceeds one.
This result follows the calculator's declared inputs, precision, validation boundaries, and model limits.
