Formula and methodology
Formula: Rated capacity = energy/voltage; usable load energy = energy × depth of discharge × efficiency; runtime = usable load energy/load power.
Ampere-hours describe charge capacity at a stated voltage, while watt-hours describe energy. This tool keeps the nominal rating, allowed discharge, and conversion losses visible so the result is a planning estimate rather than a claim about every battery chemistry or discharge rate.
