Formula: ANC without bands = WBC × (mature neutrophil percentage ÷ 100); cells/µL = ANC in ×10⁹/L × 1,000.

- The WBC input is reported in ×10⁹/L, which is numerically equivalent to thousands of cells per microlitre.
- The percentage is the mature neutrophil percentage entered from the differential, not a decimal fraction.
- Bands are deliberately excluded from this page and are not silently added.
- The percentage is between 0% and 100% and belongs to the same blood draw as the WBC value.
