Formula and methodology
Formula: Area (ft²) = length (ft) × width (ft); acres = area / 43,560; hectares = acres × 0.40468564224.
A rectangular parcel's area is its length multiplied by its width. The result is then divided by the international square-foot definition of an acre so the displayed acre and hectare values remain unit conversions, not a land-value estimate.
